Madhu's restaurant was started by Sanjay Anand and Sanjeev Anand over 25 years ago.
They are the third generation in their family to be in the catering/hotel industry.
Their grandfather BishenDas Anand and father Jagdish Kumar Anand (nicknamed Madhu) ran the Brilliant Hotel in Nairobi. The restaurant is named after their father Madhu. His specialised cuisine is legendary for all those who knew him and enjoyed his food. Madhu Anand will always be known as the Master. His culinary skills were impeccable and to date no one has come even close to his exquisite taste.
